How would you describe the essence of your artistic work?

My artistic work focuses on plaster sculpture, mostly without colour, where form comes to life through the interplay of light and shadow. It is an ongoing exploration of texture and volume, created specifically for walls and interiors.

My pieces often feature floral and organic motifs, leaves, flowers, birds, directly inspired by the nature that surrounds me.

What have been your main inspirations over the course of your career?

My journey began around 20 years ago, when I worked as a decorator for a large company in Ukraine. That’s where my fascination with walls and their expressive potential first took shape. I started working with stucco and decorative sculpture, learning mostly through hands-on practice.

I’m still learning today, experimenting and challenging myself with new forms and materials. Nature has always been a central reference in my work; its beauty is universal, intuitive and deeply human.

Through my hands and imagination, I invite people to see it through my eyes. At the moment, I find great inspiration in the diversity of Portuguese nature.

What is your creative process like from the initial ideal to the final work?

Each project begins with a close connection to the client. For me, it’s essential to build a sense of alignment and a shared vision. I develop my own sketches, balancing the client’s wishes with my artistic interpretation of the space. I’m not afraid to experiment or to create complex, one-of-a-kind pieces. The process is only complete after the final installation, when the work fully comes to life within the space.
