Estoril House

A PROJECT THAT HIGHLIGHTS THE PROPERTY'S QUALITIES AND CATERS TO THE NEW FAMILY'S LIFESTYLE

This project involved a comprehensive remodel of a house situated in Cascais, Portugal. The clients, an American couple, desired a home that exuded character, comfort, and elegance. Although the property had previously undergone several renovations and expansions, it required a well-defined interior design concept to fulfill the clients’ requirements and provide modern amenities such as custom-made carpentry, a cohesive and visually appealing interior design scheme, automation, ergonomic features, and a seamless flow throughout the space.

THE CONCEPT WAS BASED ON INTEGRATING THE CLIENT'S ECLECTIC COLLECTION OF ART, FURNITURE AND ACCESSORIES WITH PIECES ACQUIRED BY OUR OFFICE

We created a project based on a colour palette that was both vibrant and very consistent in order to create this integration. Through a bold colour palette, we were able to establish a common thread that unified all the elements of the project, giving them coherence and purpose in each space.

We developed the entire project using the User Centred Design method, in which our main objective is to meet the client’s needs, guaranteeing not only a successful aesthetic result, but also offering functionality, comfort, ergonomics and convenience.
