This project involved the full interior design of a Restelo mansion, combining the property’s classical architecture with a warmer, more contemporary language throughout the social areas. In the living and dining room, a round marble table and boucle-upholstered chairs were paired with a sculptural pendant light and layered artwork, while a bookmatched stone TV wall with brass detailing and a walnut panel became the room’s focal point. The kitchen was designed with ergonomics in mind, with curved island units softening the galley layout and easing circulation, finished in a warm palette of walnut-veneer and lacquer cabinetry against book-matched marble countertops and backsplash. A cluster of sculptural pendant lights over the breakfast bar and a backlit glass display cabinet complete the space’s layered lighting scheme.
The interior design project also extended to the home’s private spaces. In the primary suite, an upholstered headboard, glass table lamps and a sculptural ceiling fixture were combined with planned furniture, including a wall of glossy wardrobes with brass hardware and a glazed shoe display. The en-suite bathroom was designed with a floating vanity and textured stone tiling, opening onto the walk-in shower beyond — completing a cohesive material palette carried through from the social areas.
